Children birth to three learn through play. After building a rapport with your child the therapist will look for strengths based on how they watch the child play. They use these play opportunities to work on developmental milestones. For instance if your child has strengths in spatial learning the therapist might use blocks puzzles and possibly crayons to encourage language and prelinguistic play skills.
